Email can be really boring...

..and if you're like me you only look at it once a week, and you only open one if it looks like you really really have to, unless it has some sort of heading which makes you think

maybe you're missing out.

But then again if it's email it can't be that interesting, even if it looks like it might be interesting, and anybody with anything at all interesting to say

they'd just DM me, wouldn't they?

And we could communicate much faster, and email's only for work stuff, what's interesting about that, but then again, let's say I want to send you a

private link to a preview of a new song

and I want to find out what you think about it, or if you're still downloading maybe you'd like a free download, and maybe one day I might have some sort of

special offer for you (no promises though)

And if I did have any of those things then obviously I'd want the people I know best to have those things first, and to know about them before anyone else... and

and all of the people I know best, I have their email

Because you have to call an email list something and that's the best I can come up with, and an email list doesn't deserve a name that's genuinely cool and clever, because it's still just an email list whatever you call it. So that's it then, Inside Track
